この度、ベルギー王国「王冠勲章オフィシエ章」を拝受するにあたり、 ベルギー王国フィリップ国王陛下に心からの敬愛の意を表します。また、このような名誉ある章をいただくことができましたのは、ひとえにこれまで支えてくださった皆様のおかげと心より感謝申し上げます。
とりわけ大使館の皆様にはいつも温かいご支援をいただいております。
アントワン・エヴラー大使は着任時から我々に信頼を寄せて下さいました。大使のご支援と関心が、私たちの活動を大いに励ましてくれました。心より感謝申し上げます。

実際にご利用いただいているお客さまにベルギーの食文化を体験してもらいながら、ベルギーを知ってもらう、興味を持ってもらう。好きになってもらう。最終的には、よし、ベルギー行ってみようか？となる。まさに今のコト消費・体験型サービスの先駆けです。そしてこれが今日の我々アクアプランネット飲食事業の考え方の軸になっています。
そして、そのベルギー文化の発信基地を、先見性ある三菱地所に発掘いただき、東京初出店となったのが、「アントワープセントラル」です。内装建築にはベルギー本国から資材を運び込み、大変な苦労も伴いましたが、開店時には大変な話題となりました。
その後、有楽町に「アントワープシックス」、東京建物オオテモリの「ゲント」、品川アトレ「ルーヴェン」、日鉄興和赤坂インターシティでは「アントワープポート」と多くの施設の方々にお世話になってまいりました。
ここに改めまして御礼申し上げます。
近年では、中部国際空港セントレアにてベルギークリスマスマーケットを開催し、東海エリアの方々にベルギーのクリスマスの雰囲気を届けると共に、ベルギー産品のプロモーションに貢献することができました。ありがとうございました。またセントレアだけの特別なクリスマスイベントをご一緒出来ると良いですね。
そして、弊社のベルギー関連事業はKONISHI酒造をはじめとする仕入先業者の方々のご助力無しにはなしえません。この場を借りて厚く御礼を申し上げます。

Since opening our first Belgian beer and cuisine restaurant Belgian Beer Cafe Barrel in Osaka Yodoyabashi 21 years ago, company has been a pioneer in the Japanese market. We have introduced the diversity and uniqueness of Belgian food to Japanese customers while sharing the charm, culture, history, and stories of Belgium.
By letting our customers experience Belgian food culture firsthand, we aim to help them get to know Belgium, become interested in it, and eventually fall in love with it. Ultimately, we hope they’ll think, “ok, Let’s visit Belgium!” This experiential service approach is the core of our food and beverage business at Aqua Planet.
With the foresight of Mitsubishi Estate, we were able to establish “Antwerp Central,” our first location in Tokyo, as a hub for promoting Belgian culture. We have transported materials from Belgium for the interior. The construction was quite challenging but the opening drew a lot of attention from media and customers.
Subsequently, we have been supported by many facilities, including “Antwerp Six” in Yurakucho, “Ghent” in Tokyo Tatemono Ootemori, “Leuven” in Shinagawa Atre, and “Antwerp Port” in Nittetsu Kowa Akasaka Intercity. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude once again.
In recent years, we have hosted the Belgian Christmas Market at Chubu Centrair International Airport, bringing the atmosphere of Belgian Christmas to the Tokai region and contributing to the promotion of Belgian products. President Suzuki.,thank you for that.
Let’s create another special Christmas event together.
None of these achievements would have been possible without the support of our suppliers. I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude.
Everything I have talked about is the result of the hard work and dedication of our staff, who always put the smiles of our customers first and take care of our restaurants.

We are gathering at the Embassy of Belgium today in your honour, celebrating your commitment to Belgium, to its image and its economic interests in Japan.
You started your professional life far away from the food and beverage sector. After finishing school, you began your career at Denon in Osaka as an acoustic sound engineer.
A few years later, you moved to Mie Prefecture and joined the business run by your late wife, Keiko Fukumasa, and expanded the business with her. Aqua Plannet is the result of a shared vision and work.
On this occasion, let us remember the brilliant entrepreneur that Keiko-san was. She layed the foundations of Aqua Plannet’s continued success until this date.
Aqua Plannet was established in 1994 in Mie Prefecture and started out in the education business, operating tutoring schools.
The company then expanded its business into the food and beverage sector, opening the Belgian café “Barrel” in Osaka in 2003. Since then, the business has expanded to the present day, opening five Belgian beer cafes in Tokyo and Osaka.
These Belgian cafes not only offer traditional Belgian cuisine and a wide variety of Belgian beers, but also an authentic Belgian café atmosphere. They contribute to the promotion of Belgian food and beer culture in Japan.
Food and beverage are integral part of the people’s culture. They draw their origin in their geography, their climate, their agriculture and their history. It also translates their mentality, sociability and creativity. There is no better way to get to know another country or another region but by tasting their cuisine.
Belgian beer culture was recognised as UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2016 and, made Belgian beer increasingly widely known throughout the world.
Every year, a beer festival “Belgian Beer Weekend” is held in different parts of Japan, which offers Belgian beer, food and music, and the number of visitors to this event is increasing. Aqua Plannet also offers Belgian food at the event and many visitors enjoyed the real taste of Belgium.
The economic ties between Japan and Belgium are deep and strong, and various events are organised to promote relations between the two countries. You have always been a great supporter for us and have helped us with a number of events in Japan, such as the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations in 2016 and the economic mission in 2022.
You have always shown enthusiasm and have worked hard to promote a good image of Belgium in Japan. As Belgian Ambassador, I sincerely appreciate your efforts and hope to continue working together with you.
Through Belgian food and beer, you have made a significant contribution to strengthening relations between our two countries. Above all, this success would not have been possible without the continued efforts of your employees and clients gathered here for you today, as well as your friends.
Their presence is a testimony to your great and friendly personality and the trust that you have built up with everyone on a daily basis.

2016年にベルギーのビール文化がユネスコの無形文化遺産に認定され、ベルギービールの知名度がますます高まりました。
毎年、ベルギービールと料理と音楽を楽しむイベントである「ベルギービールウィークエンド」が日本各地で開催され、来場者も増えています。アクアプランネットはベルギー料理を提供し、多くの来場者が本場ベルギーの味を楽しんでいます。
日本とベルギーの経済的な結びつきは強く、両国の関係を促進するために様々なイベントが開催されています。福政さんは大使館の活動をサポートしてくださり、2016年の日本・ベルギー外交樹立150周年や2022年の経済ミッション来日の際など、様々なイベントにご協力くださっています。
福政さんは、常に何事にも情熱を持って取り組まれ、日本におけるベルギーの良いイメージを普及させるためにご尽力くださっています。駐日ベルギー大使として、福政さんのご尽力に心から感謝するとともに、今後も協力できることを願っております。
ベルギー料理とビールを通じて、両国の関係強化に大きく貢献されました。本日ここにお集まりいただいたアクアプランネットの社員の皆さま、クライアントの皆さま、ご友人の皆さまの絶え間ない努力なしにはこの成功は成し得なかったことでしょう。
本日皆様にお集まりいただいたことをは、福政さんの素晴らしく、フレンドリーなお人柄、日頃から皆様と築き上げてきた信頼の証であると言えます。
